Is the Trek Rail 7 the best eMTB for your buck?

When it comes to selling ebikes one brand that is always brought into our conversation is Trek, particularly the Trek Rail 7. Our company doesn't sell the Trek brand but we have gotten more familiar with it over the years. The blog below is going to dive into why our customers have recently chosen to jump ship and go with brands with more availability and better bang for your buck.

The reality of Trek's supply chain issues is turning customers away. Here is an email sent to one of our customers from one of LA's largest Trek stores:

"Mike passed on your contact info and mentioned you are interested in a Trek Rail. Now, to be blunt, unfortunately the  Trek Rail 7 and 9.8 are likely not going to be available in size large until spring of 2022. I know that is not what you want to hear but it is what we are dealing with these days."

**I want to address; This is not for "slander" or to put down a brand. These blogs are for the sole purpose to help the consumer make an informed decision. If you want this bike, and want to wait 8 plus months to ride, that is your choice. If you decide you want to enjoy the rest of your Summer, the cool air of the Fall, or you live in a climate that allows for Winter rides then view the chart below to pick a comparable (or better) model readily available;

If you're not married to the brand and you keep asking yourself:

Where Can I Buy an Electric Bike?

Especially if you want to ride in the next 8 months (which by the way, is an estimate, meaning that could get pushed!) then follow the links below, choose the bike that fits your needs and give us a call. Or stay married to the 4 letters on the down tube, pay a bit more for that brand recognition and walk those hills until Spring!

2021 Niner RIP E9 - Better fork, better rear shock, same battery and motor, $30 less derailleur and $200 cheaper. Available in August 2021

2021 Mondraker Dusk R - Better fork, better rear shock, same powered motor, (barely) bigger battery, and a $30 less derailleur. Slightly more expensive but one of the best designed frames we've ever ridden. See the full Mondraker breakdown below:

2021 Bulls E Stream AM 2 - Same fork, same rear shock, same derailleur, stronger motor, bigger battery (125wh bigger), and $800 cheaper....

Break your vows. Get an ebike before your only choice is to wait!
