Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Of course we'd prefer you to purchase your bike locally at one of our shops in gorgeous southern California!  But we know that sometimes this isn't possible.  If that's the case we would be honored to be your online ebike retailer and we take great pride in offering the best service you can get with an online purchase.  

 

How is your bike shipped:  Your bike will be shipped generally via FedEx and will come 80% assembled. For this reason we offer up to a $50 rebate so you can have a professional provide you with proper assembly of your bike.  The electronics on your bike will be completely set up and generally only the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and derailleur will need to be installed.  Your local mechanic will also want to adjust the brakes and make sure that the drivetrain is shifting correctly.  Once you provide us with a receipt from your bike shop or mobile bike tech, we will issue up to a $50 rebate and activate your full warranty. 

Upon receiving your bike:  It is important that when you receive your bike you inspect the box and bike quickly before accepting it from UPS.  If you notice obvious damage, please deny the shipment and fill out the required forms with the shipping provider.  Please notify us if this is the case and once we receive and inspect the damaged bike, we will issue a replacement if available or a full refund if this product is no longer available.    

Online or Phone Order Cancellation Policy

• If you cancel your order within 24 hrs, we will refund all but a $35 cancellation fee.
• If you cancel your order after 24 hrs but within 48 hrs, we will refund all but a $65 fee.
• If you cancel your order after 48 hrs but before we ship the bike to you, you can either get a refund of all but a $150 fee, or just apply the full amount to another bike. 

Returns of shipped bikes are accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • Fly Rides must be notified and returns must be shipped back within 30 days of receipt. Customer must pay return shipping, with insurance, and tracking info must be sent to support@flyridesusa.com.
  • Merchandise must be in the original packaging with all components and manuals included. Product that is returned incomplete or damaged, if accepted will require a deduction. This deduction is final.

Store credit will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes the customer's return. You will be refunded the purchase price of the item, less a $300 restocking fee and this credit will be applied to your account that you can utilize for a different purchase.                           

Returns of accessories for local and shipped orders are accepted if the item is in new condition and has all the original packaging. Returned accessories will be refunded less a restocking fee equal to 30% of the retail price.

Special order/not regularly stocked accessories are non-refundable.

All labor is non-refundable.

For local customers picking up bikes at our SD/Poway location:  

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase if the bike has less than 10 miles added to it and it is in excellent condition, minus a $300 restocking fee.  For returns outside of the 30 day, 10 mile window, we do offer trade ins as an option.
